Meet The Team -
The Heart Behind Little Piggy in Fenstanton

Family-run and community-focused

At Little Piggy we believe food is more than just a meal. It's a moment to connect, celebrate and feel at home. Our farming heritage is central to our ethos, with locally sourced produce, including sausages made on the family farm and hearty meals inspired by rustic country food.

The Little Piggy Way....

Little Piggy began with a simple dream: to bring people together around a table filled with freshly homemade, super tasty food. We're passionate about the good stuff, so in an attempt to make everyone's day a little better we promise to provide the juiciest sausages, the butteriest pastry, the most indulgent cakes and the most delicious drinks.   Our friendly team are always on hand with a smile and a chat.

Our Values: Local, Seasonal, Personal

We’re passionate about supporting local producers and using seasonal ingredients wherever possible. The fabulous bread we serve is baked by Luca and his team at Grain Culture in Ely, and the meat that we can’t get from the family farm comes from the village butcher in Fenstanton. All our fresh veg is supplied by Les Ward in Cottenham, and the eggs we use are laid a stone's throw away in Hilton.
Our menus are designed around what’s fresh, inspiring, and what brings joy to your plate — whether you’re enjoying brunch in our café or catering for 40 at a private event.

Our Community Roots

We’re not just in Fenstanton; we’re a part of the community (the cosy kind, of course). Most of our wonderful team members live right here in the village. Don’t be surprised if your server is also your neighbour, a local performer, or even on the parish council. In just two years, we’ve supported local events, partnered with nearby schools and businesses, and created a space that the village can proudly call its own. Whether you’re a regular visitor or just stopping by for the first time, we’ll treat you like an old friend—because around here, that’s exactly what you are.

Come For The Food, Stay For The Vibes

Our vibe is a perfect paradox. We're stylish yet comfortable, rustic yet chic. We have a lively energy, but we're also relaxed enough to make you feel right at home. So come on in, pull up a chair, and let us treat you like the foodie royalty you are. We promise you'll leave with a full belly and a smile almost as big as our Yorkshire puddings. Just a warning: you might not want to leave!

Lauren

Back when Lauren was a teen, she worked with us part-time on Saturdays to earn some pocket money and quickly gained a reputation for being the queen of the sink; no one can wash up faster!! She’s now with us full-time and in charge of the day-to-day running of the cafe. She's the one semi-permanently attached to the coffee machine… she does make a good coffee, to be fair!

Corrine

Corrine

Corrine is always smiling. You’ll frequently see her lovely face when walking through the front door. Corinne never sits down and loves to clean (thankfully for us)! She’s a mother of two boys and likes to paint watercolours in her free time - who really has any though when you have two boys at home! Fun fact: She was bitten by a dolphin on her honeymoon. Ask her about it next time you’re in.

Mark

Mark is a familiar face in these parts. He hails from the village and knows many of the locals. Lucky for him, it’s not a long commute to work! Mark’s hosting skills are exemplary, so it was only right that he chose to give up his retirement in favour of making coffee at Little Piggy.

Liz

Liz

This is our resident pocket rocket. When she’s not being mum to her gorgeous little boy Wilf, Liz loves to get to know our customers and always has time for a chat with the regulars. Beware, though—her friendly looks can be deceiving. This girl is living proof that small can indeed be mighty, and she’s usually the one who leads the way when something needs sorting. There is no stopping our Liz when she is on a mission!

Babs & Stu

Meet Babs, Charlie’s mum and a legendary sausage maker on the family farm. When she’s not busy perfecting her sausages, which go straight to Little Piggy, you can find her in the garden, dancing among the flowers, or enjoying some cake—whether baking or tasting! Let’s not forget her husband, Stuart, the mastermind behind breeding and raising the pigs that bring our farm-to-table food to life. Together, they make a dynamic duo, the original Mr. and Mrs. Piggy.

Marion

Meet Marion, our talented French chef who has a passion for butter, baking, and ensuring everything runs smoothly in the kitchen. When she's not whipping up mouthwatering dishes that look and taste incredible, she's keeping us all in line (trust us, we need it). Marion is also a devoted mother to her little one, Willow, who always keeps her on her toes. Despite the demands of motherhood, she manages to create fresh and exciting menus, coming up with the tastiest new recipes. She is the magic behind the food that keeps you coming back for more, and we can't thank her enough for it.
